A family-friendly festival event to mingle and learn more. Listen to local masters about how they are designing resilience into their projects from the community-wide perspective down to our individual homes.

Meet with local suppliers that feature in some of the Illawarra's finest architectural projects. Bring the kids along too. We’ve a trained child care professional so they’ll have fun, while you enjoy some grown-up time. You can sit back and relax over a bevy or nibbles for sale at the Festival.

Here we celebrate the design and designers in the Illawarra that have charted a new course toward building resilience into their approach. They apply different techniques to collaborate. They think of the future for families and communities. They use technology and materials in clever ways to help designs stand the test of time.

For a full list of the entire weekend of activities, from house tours and a jazz concert visit the Illawarra Festival of Architecture & Design website.
